libgd-barcode-perl software package provides Perl module to create barcode images (GD::Barcode), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgd-barcode-perl
libgd-barcode-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgd-barcode-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgd-barcode-perl *
You will get with libgd-barcode-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
